Introduction

Inlubolcate^®VE575 switch contact point lubricating grease is a special lubricating grease suitable for lubricating electronic and electrical switches, contacts and sensors. It is composed of synthetic hydrocarbon oil and lithium soap, and contains a special combination of additives to make it suitable for electrical contact lubrication, especially for copper, tin and silver surface lubrication and anti-corrosion. It also reduces insertion force, prevents oxidation of contact surfaces, extends the life of contacts and switches, provides continuous anti-contact wear and smoother switching transitions. Due to its special base oil viscosity, it performs particularly well under low to medium contact forces and low temperatures, minimizing contact resistance under different current and mechanical load operations.

In order to fully demonstrate the performance of this lubricating grease, the lubricated parts should be cleaned to remove external substances such as rust prevention oil and paraffin. Electrical contacts should be bright and clean. Due to the many different material components, tests of compatibility with selected materials should be conducted before use on elastomers and plastics.
